Founded in July 2023 and registered with the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Assam, Mahabahu is a 100% women-run cooperative focused on:

Indigenous farming practices with modern training
Uplifting rural women through agricultural entrepreneurship
Operating from their primary unit in Naokata, Morigaon, with land support from the Assam government

Tulmull sources premium-quality organic turmeric and indigenous spices directly from Mahabahu’s trained farmer network
Mahabahu handles primary processing at the grassroots while Tulmull manages international packaging, export compliance, and logistics
The partnership ensures fair prices, stable market access, and global exposure for more than 1,500+ women farmers
Tulmull and Mahabahu together ensure the entire supply chain is transparent, ethical, and fully traceable — from the farms of Assam to shelves in Dubai, the EU, and beyond
